Assamese Department is always committed to reflect moral qualities among the present
generation. The value based education, morality with creative mind of the students are priority
of the department so that the students are able to face the challenges of modern life in society.
The faculties are delivering their best efforts to make all round Development of the students with
adequate to guidance as following-

i. Motivational programme organized by the department to encourage students for higher studies.
ii. The Dept. has been organizing educational field tour from time to time.
iii. All faculty members always try to create an environment of friend, philosopher and guide between teachers and students of the college.
iv. To develop reading habit among faculty members and students It has been made mandatory to visit library regularly.
v. Organized lectures, seminars, group discussion among faculty members and students.
