End-Semester Examinations

The Controller of Examinations shall make necessary arrangement for notifying the dates of the End-Semester Examinations as per the Academic Calendar notified by the University.

Continuous Formative Evaluation / Internal Assessment (IA)

Total marks for each course shall be based on continuous assessments and semester end examination.

Overall Marks Distribution
Total marks for each course	100 Marks (and 50 Marks)
For 50 marks courses	No Internal Assessment
Semester End Examination (100 marks course)	70 Marks (or 50 Marks + 20 Marks Practical)
Continuous / Internal Assessment	30 Marks

5% marks for attendance shall be awarded as follows:

Attendance Percentage	Marks Awarded
75% to less than 80% attendance	1 Mark
80% to less than 85% attendance	2 Marks
85% to less than 90% attendance	3 Marks
90% to less than 95% attendance	4 Marks
95% and above attendance	5 Marks
